Matan Abir Lev
The project was founded by Matan Abir Lev, a former IDF combat officer (Captain) who served in multiple frontline operations, including Gaza and Lebanon. After October 7th, when he lost his cousin in the Nova massacre and his sister narrowly survived, Matan returned to command in combat once again. His story of resilience and leadership has brought him to audiences in the U.S. and beyond, where he continues to share Israel’s reality and spirit.
Matan built Heroes Art as a way to combine business with purpose: supporting Israeli families, creating opportunities for artists and veterans, and channeling part of the revenue into charitable donations that help communities in need.
Here, every item carries a story. Every purchase makes an impact. And every supporter becomes part of
Who We Are
Heroes Art was founded with a simple mission: to support Israel’s heroes—soldiers, reservists, survivors of the Nova festival, and their families—through creativity, resilience, and community.
Our platform brings together unique works of art, Judaica, and meaningful creations made by Israelis whose lives were shaped by courage and sacrifice. Every purchase is more than just a gift or a beautiful item—it is a direct way to stand with Israel and empower the people who protect and rebuild it.
