There are moments in war that never make the news.
Not the explosions, not the gunfire, and not the operations.

The small moments.

A room that once belonged to a senior terrorist in the middle of Rafah suddenly becoming the living room of a group of exhausted soldiers.
Laughter in the middle of a hard day.
Improvised black coffee.
Conversations about life back home, about family, and about what we’ll do “when this is over.”

And in the middle of all the chaos - you rediscover how much strength there is in our people.
How much brotherhood. How many people are willing to fight for one another without thinking twice - even when our opinions and beliefs are different.

I look at these photos and I don’t just see war.
I see friendship. Faith. Hope.

And the understanding that even in the hardest moments - the spirit of the people of Israel is stronger than anything!
